CCT & Wattage Tunable Fixtures Rapidly Gaining Popularity

RSS

As a contractor or homeowner, choosing the right fixture for the job is challenging enough already, but what about the color temperature and wattage?

While older fixtures used to require different variations for different CCTs and wattages, nowadays there are CCT and Wattage Tunable fixtures that encompass a range of CCTs and wattages, eliminating the need to order multiple fixtures for the same job!

For those who don’t know, CCT refers to the Correlated Color Temperature of a particular light source, or simply to the warmth or coolness of the light.

Wattage refers to the amount of energy needed to produce a particular light output, which is measured in lumens.

With older fixtures, the CCT and wattage was usually selected before installation and could not be swapped out without replacing the entire fixture, which becomes a costly and time-consuming process if the incorrect color temperature or wattage is chosen and the fixtures end up needing to be replaced.

However, with CCT and Wattage Tunable fixtures, these added costs are eliminated with the flick of a switch!

For example, our Wattage / CCT-Tunable LED Wall Packs are available in 3000K, 4000K, or 5000K with several wattage options all built into one fixture, which can all be adjusted even after installation!

Our LED Corn Lights are also wattage tunable, and are able to be switched between three different wattages!

This eliminates the need for ordering and returning multiple fixtures, and minimizes additional labor and installation costs while providing additional versatility for different locations and applications!
